"Monsters in Love" shirt
Over 16 hours of non-stop carving on this bad boy! We couldn't be happier with the results! Now hopefully people will buy em so we can make more!
Good things that happened this week! Also known as: things that will be blogged about soon!
1. We thrifted a few awesome things which I will blog about soon.
2. Billy sold two prints and a t-shirt!
3. We watched Son-in-Law haha
4. My friend Eric brought us Taco Bell! How nice!
5. Our friend Jennifer and her husband gave us a desk for our apartment. That made us happy, but the next part didn't. As Billy and I were trying to haul it upstairs it caught on something and just fell apart, a big chunk hitting Billy right in the middle of the foot. It was a tragedy, but the giving of it made us happy.
6. We went to the flea market with our friends Ashley and Turtle and we stayed within our three dollar limit!!! That was a miracle!
7. I left ice cream sundaes on the frigid door step of our friend! I still don't know if she got them though! I hope so.
8. Billy made two new t-shirt designs! They are awesome!
9. I went to the grocery and bought so much that I hope I won't have to go for two weeks! Doesn't that sound nice? No grocery shopping for two weeks!!
10. The kitchen is decorated!!
P.s. These photos have nothing to do with this post. They are just old photos that make me happy!

Chalky!
This little project has been on the back burner for quite some time now and I'm really happy to finally have it finished! Originally I was gonna make it a standee but thought this would be a more useful application, what with festivals coming up and all. Long live Chalky!
He's made out of Masonite, (the top of an old ping pong table) and a 2 dollar chalk board easel from Salvation Army. I used a super strong "industrial strength" Velcro to fasten the hands to the chalk board, and also the head to the torso. Velcro is my new love! Don't tell Abbigail :^)
Makin' Things again
I haven't made anything in a long time, but I have been cracking down on my sewing lately. I definitely missed it. I have a lot of ideas, and I hope I can bust them all out. Expect to see lots of UFOs, castles, cyclops, space cats, and chomping teeth. I don't know if these are my latest obsessions or just things I thought would sell on a bag. Maybe a little of both, who doesn't like a cat in space?

Proposal
On my 27th birthday back in December, Billy Joe asked me to marry him and it was awesome! At midnight, he took me to my favourite place in all of Richmond: the recycling center!! I was thinking that he had probably made me a happy birthday banner, but I didn't see one when we pulled up. He started lifting up garbage can lids and these beautiful handmade signs were inside! It was the most wonderful night!!! I got a ring, a fiance, and two cakes! Dang!!
Yay Shirts!
We're so happy to finally have our own shirts made! The words on this design are intended to be backwards so that when you look at your reflection they seem normal. We're thinking there will be more lino cut prints in the future since this has proven to be fun, and quickly rewarding!
